Yes...$50 is good, and as of my post, there are no bids. Trannies in "bolt-on" condition can run anywhere from $200-300+ - If no one else wants it, bid right at the end and hopefully you'll get it.
For $50, you might be able to afford to pull it apart or take it to a shop to have those annoying little things like throw-out bearings and shitty synchros replaced. But you don't usually know those are bad until you drive it a while. I had a DX tranny put on my 1.5, and it was GREAT for 10K miles, but now it is worse than the one I took off - you never know.
Like the dude said, shipping will be killer tho. What does an L3 tranny weigh - 75 lbs? - that is almost an overweight package and subject to extra shipping charges...just some food for thought
