You should be able to get away with the tranny snout as these are tranny specific, perhaps the TO as well.

Here is the current Panoz GTS 8.5" Quartermaster:

It uses a hydraulic TO bearing on the input housing that is a "mother" to get the clearances correct. We had to pull the trans 4x to get the shims right. Works great now, but very unforgiving if you don't match revs. Easy to upset the car and takes some skill. Not great for parking in the trailer either.
The GTRA uses a standard Ford HD clutch such as in a Mustang or truck. Simple to shift and plenty of slip if needed. Easy to adjust too.
