Glad you mentioned about the baffles as I have the same problem with at 1st a 1/4 tank and now just below 1/2 tank on turning corners and leaving traffic lights.It also stalls out.I don't believe it's the pump and I will tell you later this week after we install a used Lesabre tank.
My filler neck pipe was rotted out too which we recently replaced and would have caused a lot of sand and salt to enter tank possibly causing the baffle welds to rot out.Car had sat on a farm for 15 years being used rarely...lesson learned.
