I have used mine tons of trailers will no problem. Also, you won't have to put cools and such on because you can just put it in third. This will keep the transmission from shifting so much and will protect it from over heating. The TOW button in GMCs does just this. You will burn a little more gas, but unless you are going 70 on the highway you can run in third. If that is the case and you are running fast, put it in drive cause the car wont be downshifting anyways at that speed.
