01 manual shift
Alero 2001 manual 5 speed transmission, (2.4 liters)
There was a safety keylock where you couldn't pull the key unless the car was in reverse. To put it into reverse you had to lift the head and it would lock into that gear (unlike the other gears). Now i can pull the key in any gear and it no longer locks in reverse and I have to hold it there to back up.
The last 2 days I can't seem to get it into reverse at all. Any ideas what the problem is and how to fix???
