This is my new "freestyle" project. I decided to experiment and do some scratchbuilding to convert boring Honda in more eye catching car.
I also plan to test some new paints and techniques.
The models is Fujimi kit - Honda STEPWGN in 1/24 scale.
Simple and not particulary attractive car has been put into hands of japaneese tuner...
The plan
- New, bigger rims (Enkei GTC-01)
- Big (racing NSX) brake discs
- tinted glasess
- aero kit
- prismatic paint (Alclad saphire)
- sport double exhaust - similar to Honda Accord TypeR
Original wheels

Body sanded

Unmodified chasis

Silencer and exhaust removed. I will build new one when I fit in suspension and aero parts.

New wheels
Front suspension (Fujimi) modified using discs (Tamiya) and wheels (Aoshima)

All done

New wheels
I have started building new aero kit. I will make fenders wider to fit new wheels and I will try to create something sporty.
Before any putty work I will build construction of bare plastic which I belive make the whole process easier.
When basic shape will be ready I will do some check outs with the wheels and will see what else can be done.

I am pretty happy with the current outcome.
Front bumper is not finished yet - only lowered. I think I will modify whole front, make air intake wider (a bit like Evo X).
