i agree with sick of hearing people suggest the b16. however i personally chose the sohc vtec over the zc. reason #1 zc's have most likely sat a number of years before it gets to you. that causes bad seals. my y8 wasn't even 2 years old and was $500 (12,000 miles on it). #2 zc is frankenstien. you need to keep a parts list to know what oil filter, timing belt, and so on it needs. #3 while parts fit the zc...none of them were made for the zc. where the sohc vtec has a wide market of parts.

i personally found the zc was not for me
