I met my nemesis in the damn #5 spark plug of my old Cleveland-engined '71 Falcon (they widened the engine bay next model).
Take off the watch, pull up the sleeve, squeeze down into the two-inch gap between the shock-tower and that always hot cylinder head, and you can just JUST touch the retaining clip of the plug with the absolute tips of your fingers. It's on about a 45 degree angle and almost invisible, so you end up either unscrewing the retaining clip (instead of the plug) .. or it drops down, virtually irretrievable, either wedged under the extractors or hiding somewhere on the crossmember :grey:
