what he's talking about tuning is fuel, ignition, compressions and all the wonderful things that matter about this subject. If u have a determined mind and want to work on ur car you could do it, the greddy kit is not on the same level as the apex kit. as for a build up on a sohc depends how much boost you want, to be happy with results u would have to run at least 8psi, that means u dont really have to upgrade pistons n what not but u definately need to upgrade head gasket with high pressure gasket, and an ignition system I recomend jocobs ice pak, has worked cool with me. wires, plugs and a new fuel pump with higher cc injectors. fuel rail, fuel pressure riser as as well as regulator, keep in mind most of this stuff comes with the kit, but it is cheaper to build ur own kit then it is to go buy one. I can turbo charge a sohc for 750.00 as aposed to the 1595.00 greddy offers uninstalled.. happy posting..
