Used to have a 97. Loved it. By far the best truck I've owned. It had 130k when I got rid of it, but as for the engine as long as the oil was changed regurlarly (VERY) did I say (VERY) important on a powerstroke; I wouldn't be scared of 275k. Keep in mind though the rest of the truck still has the mileage on it, so find out what has been done to maintain it. The injectors fire off of the engine oil, so it HAS to be clean or it takes them out. Do yourself a favor, goto to dieselstop.com and look it over.
