Ok, im getting a little confused with all this conflicting info. Here is what I believe to be correct:

The whole purpose of the LS/VTEC conversion is to take the ls block which has a longer stroke than blocks made for vtec, and use this longer stroke at higher a higher RPM to create more power.

Putting a b16 crank on an ls block doesnt make much sense to me. As ric said, we would be destroking it back to the stoke length of the b16, because the ls crank is made for longer strokes.

Im still confused about putting b16 pistons in the ls block. This DOESNT MAKE SENSE to me. Maybe im confused, but it seems to me that b16 pistons would actually reduce the compression. HELP ME!

sparq, hey THANKS for the useless post! I really appreciate it, you know thats really funny. I mean, no one has every said anything like that before!
