Start at the basics - air, fuel, spark. Make sure any maintenance item relating to these is new. While you are changing the plugs check the compression. Clean the throttle body including the idle air control valve.

Then get a DVOM and a wiring diagram - factory manuals are available on Ebay.
Its a 2000 with the 3.5L with 135,000 on it.

I thought it would be easier than making a new thread. The engine isn't miss firing, the plugs maybe have 20k on them, had the crank shaft sensor, ignition switch, and fuel reg replaced within the last 25k. I'll check the IAC valve though.
