Been having trouble with the ABS on my '93 Accord EX 5 speed wagon. Car has 227K . A couple of weeks ago the ABS light came on when the car was started. Sometimes it would go off if the car was restarted, and sometimes it came back on. Then a week ago I was driving in highway traffic, and under normal braking the ABS light came on, and the system went nuts. It went from pulsing the pedal to locking the brakes and nearly caused me an accident. Nothing happened again like this, but the light stayed on. It has been parked since. The fluid is topped off, regular brake system is in good shape. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do/check 1st? Parts stores can't pull the code for this car, and there is precious little info. for the '93 wagon that I can readily find. A search of this forum did not return any results.
