Exclamation 1994 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight (Help)

Hi everyone,

I bought a 1994 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency with 190k on it. One of the issues that i was having with the car. Was that the gas gauge would go down everytime i would go over a bump, making a turn and even when i was at a declined area. Sometimes it would even chug and want to shut off. I noticed it chugs even worst when im in a declined area, and it shuts off when i make a quick stop. But this would only happen when my gas would be at a half tank, if i had it full there was no issues.

So i thought it was the fuel pump that was bad, I bought new fuel pump and replaced the old one. It fixed my gauge problem from going down when i went over bumps, it also does not chug when i make a quick stop or shut off. There is still a issue when i make a sharp turn the fuel cuts out, when the car levels its self out, the fuel kicks right back in and feels like i stept on the gas half way throttle.

I also tested the car in my neighbors driveway wich is really inclined, i reversed the car into the driveway. It would still chug a little but not as bad as it would with the old fuel pump.

What could be the problem?
