Clarification... the gas is not running out of the carb but actually is coming up vent hose that is connected to the top of the float bowl. The other end of the hose is connected to a fitting on the air cleaner mount plate that fixed to the carbs.
What would cause gas to be pulled or pushed up these hoses?
