I verified that the brain of my a/m alarm has a factory rearm wire and a factory disarm wire.
On Saturday, Tiffany and I sat down and tested out all the functionality of the alarm. The doors, trunk, or hood being opened are not triggering the alarm. Two, if you arm the factory alarm, arm the a/m alarm, then use the a/m remote to disarm, it won't disarm the factory alarm. Third, when you turn the key to ACC the DIC and HVAC system stay illuminated. When you arm the a/m alarm, they stay illuminated for a few seconds as well.
So needless to say, it's going back in.
