definitly check all electrical connections..I have been doing wash work to engines for yrs and the one thing I do besides taping up and covering the distributor and anything I can electrical I leave ht ecar running to ensure it's warm and any water that does get on anything gets blown off fromt he engine or it's warm enough to dry it.
