I got a hell of a shock when I did to!
I put my foot on the clutch and thought I had broken the cable, then I had a hell of a time trying to find gears again.
The two cars are only a year apart in production dates, and the Civic has far more options, is 10 times more reliable, and costs signifacantly less to buy and run. And when it comes to driving around a crowed city is a signifacntly better car than the lotus. (if you want a city Lotus you get an Elise, or an Excell or something). But when it comes to swollowing large chunks of countryside the Lotus was so far ahead of the Civic it might as well be a push bike.
