I've been trying without much (any) success to shift my car without clutching. Say, going from 2nd to 3rd...I get the shifter out of second without the clutch no problem. Push the shifter towards third and hold it just outside of where it snicks in, rev the engine a little...the shifter starts to neatly fall into place, but then grinds and gets shoved back out. I just can't do it
