WEll, I still have the tired old d16 in my 4g. I am going to swap it to something, do a light buildup (low CR pistons, shot peened or forged rods and a tiny head work) and put some boost into it. I want a reliable daily driver that is fast and fun to drive, for a while I thought b16 turbo, then I thought ZC turbo (how hard is it to get parts) then I thought maybe lsvtec turbo or crvtec turbo (really bad rod-stroke ratio), I keep comming back to the ZC. What do you guys think, and what has been succesful for you.
Also, I am getting a little tired of turning 4k rpms on the highway with my si tranny. What are some good ways to give me a better final drive. Also, does anyone make a kit to beef up the 4g tranny or just a regular rebuild kit?
