Falken tires are generally heavier due to their thick side walls. The Potenza's I heard are very sticky but get wasted pretty fast. It you are into handling, go for the falkens, they are cheap and have good performance in both wet and dry according to a test done by best motoring. They are not the longest lasting tires and they'll probably take some speed away for the handling because of the weight.
