2001 protege battery light on.
Hi.
My 2001 protege 2.0l is being weird, the battery light comes on at random, regardless of lights/ac/stereo being on. It could stay on for couple of hours, and then be off for a day or two, and vice verse. The belt is fine. The battery is new(maybe 2 month old) all of the connections are in place. The voltage output when the car is running at idle, is 14.3v, and doesn't really go up if i rev the engine. however for the few times i have checked it, the battery light would not go on.
any ideas?
