Re: 06 LE new to me...problems???

Best thing you can do with any vehicle is to stay ON TOP of maintenance.
This is the #1 thing that gets folks into trouble....folks tend to drive a vehicle, only filling the gasoline tank.....most having the ol changed.....and nothing else until a problem comes up.....and that does not get you the most years of service out of your vehicle..
I would change the oil and filter every 5K miles using a quality oil (I am partial to synthetic).
Change the transmission fluid as called for, and change the power steering fluid every 4 years or sooner (uses Automatic Transmission fluid, as called for in your owner's manual).

You have purchased a vehicle that should give you years of GREAT service.

The advice about rotating tires is spot on......I have owned a number of front wheel drive vehicles....and while the front tires will wear faster......the rear ones will "cup"....get flat spots on them if you don't rotate them regularly.
This has been the case on EVERY front wheel drive vehicle that I have owned.
I have had great results with Michelin Harmony tires......might try the Hydroedge.

The other advice that I would give....which you are already doing....READ up....there is a LOT of good information on the internet.
Of course....you have to separate the good information from the bad.
This can give you pointers on what to keep an eye out for.
