A little progress...
Making these parts.
I decided to make them by using the original parts and styrene plates.
It must be difficult but those resin parts included in the Top studio detail set are not well fit with the cowlings either, and I prefer the styrene part to the resin one because I'm planing to assemble the cowlings by small bolts.
Firstly, I laminated styrene plates and made space for fitting both parts.
It will be fit like this.
Roughly cut the shape and glue them.
Made shape by carving and sanding. It's a work.
It will be fit like this.
The front cowling could be snap fit without glue like this.
Checked if cowlings are fit well.
