My wife's 01' Bravada lost it's brakes last week, Brake line & fuel lines next to the fuel tank are rusted out. I pulled the tank & the 3 lines going to the tank. I can save part of the original steel lines but to make a long story short, my wife's work makes the fuel injection lines for GM used on the pickups & Hummers. The hoses are a hard plastic/rubber line wrapped in fiberglass & baked. The hoses are rated @ 6,000 psi. I'm going to replace the rusted section on the fuel lines with 2 clamps at each end. Now can i use this hose on the brake line too? I was going to replace the bad section of brake line with steel line but since she "borrowed" this hose. I know the hose is strong enough but would 2 hose clamps at each end hold? Her boss said that someone else there used these hoses to replace all the steel fuel lines on his truck & had no problems with the clamps. Sorry for the long post & thanks in advanced for any help.
