Van door closes then opens... annoying!!!

Ok, I've had my post on a more specific forum for a while and I'm getting nowhere. If you want to read my old posts, you can read it here... http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...80#post6095680 Really, I think the problem is bad design by the manufacturer. Quite often, when closing the door, it gets closed but you hear the lack of latching in the door, the door dings and opens back up. I think it's alignment in the door. I've taken the door off once, which turned out to be a big mistake because I thought I was never going to get the door back on that day. But after hours of messing around, I have it on as well as it was before.

So, this is why I'm posting here now. I'm hoping that someone will read this that doesn't have a GM mindset. I see all these foreign cars (which I don't like foreign in general), but their doors work fine. Open and close and you don't see those owners pushing the button 10 times to get their door to close while it opens back up on its own.

We've had this car to the dealer probably 5+ times to fix it and it's not any better. So, I'm trying to figure out where else I can take it. There has to be someone that could fix a van door. I know they're a little more complicated than a normal door. I'm open to any suggestions on how to get the alignment of the door correct. It seems like if the car is on certain angles, it is more likely to mess up at times.
