That's always handy info to include in the original post

I wonder if the automatic trans crankshaft simply has different bolt spacing from the manual. I am not sure.

If you know for sure that a 350 flywheel will fit your manual transmission, you can take it to a machine shop. A good shop can move the holes....... they weld-up the existing hole, then re-drill it in the proper location.
