Keeping in mind that i know very little about fuel injected engine parts, it kind of sounds like water in the fuel is freezing and possibly causing the injector(s) or fuel line(s) to clog. I've had it happen with carbeurated engines. Try a GOOD gas treatment/fuel system cleaner like Sea Foam or HEET. Could be a $5 fix.. I'm just sayin'..
