I have an '02 LeSabre that is driving me crazy. Every 4 or 5th time I drive it, I lose power when excellerating. I changed the plugs and fuel filter recently and even had the plate/thing the voltage packs sit on checked. It will be running fine and then when I go to excellerate, it just sputters and the service engine light flashes the "misfire" warning.
If I put the car in neutral, it will sputter once or twice and then excellerate normally. When I put it back in drive it will sputter again when excellerating. It will cruise along at 60 or higher just fine, as long as I don't try to excellerate. My "Service Engine Soon" light has been displaying the catalytic converter code but I"m told that is my oxygen sensor/bank 1.
Need help PLEASE !!
