Well plugging off the egr vac hose didn't do anything for me. Still has the multiple cyl random misfire code showing up. So much for that idea.

Daniel was that stuff plugged off on a 4.6 engine? I have all that egr and emission stuff eliminated on my old scrap truck. It has a SBC under the hood and doesn't need any of that stuff.
