Yeah, I think I know what you are talking about, that copper spray stuff, but I thought that was only meant for headgaskets. Which I have always installed dry. I have however put a slight layer of silicone around the coolant ports on intake gaskets on a few GM 3100's that I have done in the past just to help seal. So far, no come backs!. And I have done my fair share of 3100sfi moter LIM gaskets.... I have gotten the job time down to just under 4 hours (still higher than flat rate unfortunatly).
