I may have had the very same issue, that is if you hear this annoying noise while inside the vehicle. With mine, I replaced the cracked and leaking plastic intake gasket along with new ignition parts and a new pcv . When I took it for a testdrive I heard a buzz/rattle sound which almost seemed like it was coming from the dashboard area. So here's what I found: The rubber hose directly off the PCV connects up to a plastic 90 degree bent hose which is very close to the throttle cable. If the throttle cable is resting on that plastic hose the vibrations from the PCV will resonate inside the vehicle (its a transmission path for the vibs to go straight into the cabin) Vice-versa same thing, if hose rests on cable. For mine, I cut a new slightly longer piece of vacuum hose so that the throttle cable would lie below the hose without contact. I think the fresh piece of rubber may have dampened the vibration path from PCV through the hose, old hose was pretty hard and brittle. Once I had the PCV hose and throttle cable cleared my interior buzz/rattle went away (Ok, you still do hear the valve rattle when listening with hood up but inside the noise is gone). Also, check the connection at the other end of the plastic hose (goes into a fitting on a small canister attached to the manifold) and make sure its ok.

If what fixed me doesn't work, then another thought might be to check the rubber grommet in the rocker cover, oil and heat may have hardened it too. You want the grommet and hose to absorb the vibrations, otherwise they may transmit them to other parts. Good luck, I hope this helps!
