'95 T-Bird 4.6 V8
I have a '95 Ford Thunderbird LX 4.6L V8 that has been acting up lately. The problem is that when I accelerate normally the car tends to hang or stutter right after dropping into fourth gear. But if I take my foot off the pedal for a second and then accelerate again everything seems to be fine. Around May of this year, my car started doing this and everyone I talked to thought it was the fuel pump gone bad. So I took it in to a mechanic and had the pump replaced and everything seemed to be fine up until around July when it started in again. I've tried the gas treatment bottles, replaced my fuel filter but the problem remains. Not sure if I should just fork out the cash to have it tuned up and hope that solves it or get some more opinions. Just hoping that this is not going to cost an arm or a leg. Any ideas? Thanks
