I'm glad your symptoms are gone, however something is not right. The ECU does not have a back-up battery, also the ECU does not generate faults so resetting should not have cleared your problems.

If it re-offends try checking the inlet manifold gaskets by spraying carb cleaner around the manifold base to see if the revs rise.
