BTW a solution may be to use the 964 3.8 turbo body: those vents looks more accurate and it isn't needed to fill the gap between the wing and the grill. Sure would be quite tedious to sand down the turbo trim under the doors.....

Mmm not exactly what I wanted to point out... But that also may be right... In this case I missed that myself.
let's try with your pic to show you what I mean.

whereas turbo rear wing has a wider base to increase inside space aiming to receive the intercooler:
