HELP, I need a trick of the trade.

I have a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo and felt it was time to change the front shocks. The rubber bushing on the lower part of the shock will not let go of the bolt. I've soaked it for hours with PB Blaster, Kroil, and mouse milk. Hammering only ended up bending the opposite flange. I can rotate the bolt which also rotates the bushing. Is there anything else I can do, or do I admit defeat and take it to my mechanic?
