Speaking of the stuff in neighbor's basements reminds me of the local story a few years back of the old guy that kept a couple women in his basement for years. He had a special tunnel that led from his basement to a fallout shelter type underground bunker. He would kidnap these women hold them hostage and make them his personal sex slaves. The conditions he kept them in were decrepit and luckily one escaped somehow one day and managed to get to town and call a family member. Authorities were amazed at what they discovered when they went to his residence, The story broke nationally and was even featured on some of the talk shows that were on at the time.
