Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet
And continuing the "Twilight Zone" like story that is McLaren F1 chassis #013...
It's for sale again, this time with an interesting story attached, and the photos once again show GM's signature on the wing.

Silver exterior with grey leather interior, red leather inserts in center driver seat
Only 10,440 Km from new
Only 64 road cars ever built!
With original Facom Tool Chest, Leather luggage
In EXCELLENT condition
Serviced only by McLaren authorized technicians
It is silver, with grey interior (red inserts in driver seat), (1994 production), 10,440 Km, and only 3 owners since new.
I sold it for first owner in February 2007 to a UK client, the 2nd owner. He brought it to the UK, enjoyed it for 6 months, had it serviced at McLaren, then sold back to Japan in 2008 to a real estate developer in Tokyo, the current owner. He wishes me to find a buyer for it as he has no time to drive it. (the 2nd owner did not want to pay VAT so sold it before paying this, so not VAT paid).
It was serviced while in the UK in 2007, new cats installed, and fresh.
It has always been maintained 100% by McLaren only throughout its life, and this car has spent most of its life in private collections, in Japan most all its life except for the 6 months with #2 London owner.
In 2005 a major service was performed by McLaren, new clutch, upgraded radiators, etc. And, McLaren also installed new fuel tanks in August 2006 (a $40,000 cost by McLaren) which are good through 2011.
It has the leather bags from new, Facom tool chest, books (owners manual & service books), and is a complete car in excellent condition, and in superb condition, mechanically & cosmetically.
