Brother's '66 race car update

We built a 501 CID BBF for my brother's '66 coupe last Winter. He has run at a few events. After replacing the block due to a cylinder too thin (split, no "overheating"), he's learned a LOT about driving it.

First time out the car went from a 15.0 (no traction), to a 11.32. Second trip netted a 10.56 (@ 129 MPH).

Last outing of the year he made a 10.008 at 134.8! Each trip to the track has bettered the last.

He's shifting at 6,400, and is actually PAST the 1/8 mile mark when he shifts (PowerGlide). This Winter, the 4.10s come out, 4.56s go in! That should get him deep into the 9s. Pretty awesome car! (even if it IS a Ford...) Argh! Argh! Humor...
