I am getting ready to have a good winter by swaping a 350 tuned port injection motor with a 700r4 out of a 1987 Trans Am GTA into my 95 s10. I have been told that the column shifter linkage will cause issues with running headers, True??? I need to convert to floor shift? I hope not. I like the kits sold on s10v8.com but i dont feel like wasting my money on parts that wont work. I need to purchase motor mounts, headers, radiator, fans, i dont think i need an oil pan the one on the motor should work, maybe a painless harness?? the budget will decide that. I am planning on putting a 98 or newer front end on her too, I need to swap out the entire core support right? I am looking forward to doing this with a good friend who has done this swap twice before but both were the 93 and older bodies. I will post some pics if peopke are interested. Thanx!
