HERE, but at the bottom of the instructions posted above, I also see;

So evidently, it was copied from an official GM site! It could be that by holding the 'Unlock' button down during the procedure, overrides the need to jumper pins #4 & 8 on the ALDL terminal. It won't hurt to try it!
