I highly suggest buying a service manual for this procedure because: Turning the camshafts and the crankshaft once the timing chain is removed.Valve and piston damage can and may occur.



The number 1 cylinder is at the Top Dead Centre position.
The keyway on the crankshaft aligns with the mark on the engine block.
The arrow on the idler sprocket is pointing upward.
The guide pins on the camshaft sprocket line up with the notches on the cylindre head.
