I have aftermarket car speakers (not subs or anything) in both my 6x9's and the 4x7's (or whatever size the ones in the doors are). I don't know if that's a factor, but my Sony CDX-FW700 is 52x4 watts, so as far as I know it's a suitably powered deck. Otherwise, I don't know if that metal cage behind the dash is not suitable for proper ground placement, but I don't know why it wouldn't be...

Basically, I want to be able to turn the deck almost all the way up and bump out without this stupid deck turning off all the time like it does.
