i have same problem with my 4cyl vitara when it get hot about 90 degrees outside and i drive for a half an hour shut off car for 5 minutes it wont start
i pop open the hood let it cool down and it will restart. one time i poured water over the cam postion sensor in the back off the motor and it started right away i have read other post about the sensor being at fault but with cooler weather i am holding off on replacing it . beacause it is starting on the second or third try but definitely not on first try. anybody know where i can get an inexpensive sensor under 150.00. thanks
