This something I've had on the go for a very, very long time but recently, I've managed to force myself to pretty much try and finish everything I[ve got started.
Let's get down to it...
Now I wouldn't say that this is a bad kit.
It has a nice engine, nice chassis/suspension details. It has a few missing elements but so do most others and a little scratch building won't kill you.
The thing is, the body is awful.
Mine (as well as about three others that I have) came with a horribly warped body. Not horrible in the sense that it was severe but horrible because it was a twist in three directions. Even after several dunks in next to boiling water, I couldn't get all the twist out of it.
This was when I first gave up on it.
Up until I started on the body, I had enjoyed playing with the chassis part.
Anyway.

Here you can see on of the major flaws of the kit; incorrect windscreen trim.
This was done before I discovered the joys of Milliput White otherwise I would've filled it all it and rescribed it correctly.
The rear is near enough correct except for the rear wing arches and where they meet the door mirrors. Again, Milliput would've been great to fix this but alas, I had since sold all of my ESCI kits.
Front end doesn't look half bad except for the slightly mis-shaped grill.
Side profile isn't bad either but you can see where the curves aren't quite 100%

This was done and set before I started my GTO detailing otherwise I would've scratched similar parts for it as well.
