Just an update.....
Since I didn't get much from the forum, I asked around to whomever would give their two cents and got some info. I was told that doing this may have uncovered a vacuum leak. I will be picking up some starting fluid and testing this theory out this coming Labor Day weekend. Since I haven't had this problem before, it may be a hit or miss with your's truly!
