I have just finished replacing the second window regulator in my 2002 s. this car just reached 50,000 M and the parts break like clockwork. In the future I will try to open and close doors with window up. I had the mechanic change the first one and charged $550 for the work w/parts. It took me 2.5 hours to finish it. The plastic cup for the door latch lock trim was tricky but did not crack. A little debris fell in my eyes. None of the pop pins broke and The panel went back on very easily. I am encouraged by the other posts on this forum.
