Agree with the info that you have found... The motor is a dud..
I have done a handfull of these and its not a hard replacement.. But we use a parts store that deals with us and we get great prices from them.. Great to know people...
The units I use are Dorman units... I have had one that was bad from the word go..The replacement was ordered and in my hands the next morning( he usually has them on the shelf, turned out the one I bought was the last one...LOL )
On an Item like that you are generally better off trying to get them locally so that if you do have an issue or failure with the unit you can have it promptly replaced...
