No more than YOU can't understand or/nor accept that there are some modelers (the same ? ) who expect to find a racing model to be built accurate and realistic as soon as builder hasn't express another choice simply because it's what it has to be by representing a precise car, except of course when builder pretends (with so much modesty) to express his great craftmanship talent (moreover for a "well executed model" - understand we all other ones must build shit) building another way and only expect/accept flattering comments regarding his skills...!!
(which ones aren't supposed to be lacking, nobody especially among those stupid modelers who really can't understand you pretended that this was badly built or that you should leave modeling for bowling...

And once more, what is other builders aim so...??
what you named is exactly what modelers building accurate also do !! And probably even more when knowing what accuracy makes need to do to improve or modify a kit, and all that without ever prentending their models are well executed and talent expression !?!

don't think for purists !! they know what to think themselves !
and purists can make a difference between accuracy they look for all the time and skills and talent.
that's why I'm sure they all appreciate your model as I do myself, knowing what work was done and what time and energy as much as skills it means.

haahaaaaaa !! Of course, here we are !!
that's why accuracy critics aren't welcome, and why it even doesn't count, what is important, the final aim to so much modesty (skills, artistic talent, well executed blah blah blah... ) and the expected and only ones accepted flattering comments is there: finding money with it !!!
Haa that's sure that from that point of view the main problem isn't to make an unwaited choice of build for such car representation (which is accepted as far as known), and can only be all other modelers who can't and/or don't want to understand your choice and refuse to praise the skills and result.

I really hope I'm wrong and that your unaccepting reaction about some comments wasn't motivated by this final need to get only flattering comments to make ad vertisement of your build to find a buyer...
That would be a very bad philosophy...

That's why now I've said all I had and wanted to I prefer forgetting this thread and model. I really prefer all the contacts I have through this forum with people accepting crtics with modesty and discussing them to those who refuse to hear things which don't match their money aim.
because that's not my own philosophy. "Learn from others and teach to them at your turn when you can" better is mine.
