My '02 Silhouette AWD handles great in the winter.

If you are going to try and make the Grand Am AWD, you'll need a cutting torch, a couple sledge hammers, and an arc welder. :sarcasm1:
You would have to replace the entire rear chassis section, custom fit some sort of driveshaft from the transfer case to the rear diff (the setup is not so much a standard driveshaft as it is a torque tube). And then have to figure out the electronics, since the Versatrak system is not an AWD, it is on demand as determined by wheel slip.
